Lemons-To-Lemonade

  • 1 1/2 ounces vodka
  • 3/4 ounce lemon (the juice from about half of a large lemon)
  • 3/4 ounce red wine syrup (slightly heat 1/2 cup wine and stir in 1/2 cup sugar, until dissolved, refrigerate extra up to 1 week)
  • Garnish: lemon wheel

Shake vodka, lemon juice and syrup with ice, strain into a cocktail glass.

  • 1 part lemon juice
  • 1 part syrup (equal parts liquid and sugar)
